NEDP - Northborough Extended Day Programs, Inc.

IN RESPONSE OF THE RECENT THREAT OF EASTERN EQUINE ENCEPHALITIS VIRUS (EEE) AND THE DESIGNATIONS OF CRITICAL RISK IN THE TOWN OF NORTHBOROUGH, NEDP HAS DECIDED NOT TO GO OUTSIDE AT ANY TIME UNTIL THE FIRST HARD FROST AND WE HEAR FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH THAT THERE IS NO LONGER A CRITICAL RISK.  THE CHILDREN WILL UTILIZE THE GYM FOR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY DURING THIS TIME.

EARLY RELEASE DAYS IN NOVEMBER

THERE ARE TWO EARLY RELEASE DAYS FOR PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES ON 11/19 & 11/21.  NEDP WILL BE OPEN ONLY TO THOSE STUDENTS ENROLLED ON TUESDAY AND/OR THURSDAY AFTER SCHOOL CARE.  IF YOUR CHILD ATTENDS ON EITHER DAY YOU WILL NEED TO CHECK OFF "YES OR NO" ON THE SIGN-UP SHEET FOR THE HALF DAY PROGRAM.  FOR EXAMPLE IF YOUR CHILD ATTENDS NEDP NORMALLY ON A TUESDAY BUT NOT A THURSDAY YOU MAY ONLY SIGN-UP FOR THE TUESDAY HALF-DAY PROGRAM.

THE SIGN-UP SHEET WILL BE ON THE PARENT TABLE BY THE END OF OCTOBER.  ON TUESDAY 11/19 ALL THE NEDP'S WILL BE GOING ON A FIELD TRIP TO ROLLER KINGDOM IN HUDSON.  PARENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN THE PERMISSON SLIP PRIOR TO ATTENDING.

NEDP, Inc. supports our community to better understand the importance and value of constructive “out of school time” for Northborough’s school age population.
