Mission Statement
Animal Control is committed to giving compassionate and quality care to all stray animals in our custody. This department works to provide an atmosphere of safe coexistence between the human and canine residents of the community by:

• Impartially enforcing state and local dog laws.
• Educating the public about responsible pet ownership.
• Mediating complaints promptly and efficiently.
• Providing crisis intervention, recognizing that extremely emotional situations can result from the strong human/animal bond relationship.
