Free Narcan Training

Narcan is the brand name of the generic naloxone and is a life-saving medication that can reverse an overdose from opioids - including heroin, fentanyl, and prescription medications - when given in time.
This Free Narcan training will provide participants with a brief training on how to recognize an opioid overdose, when and how to use Narcan, and a free kit to take home. The kit includes:
- 2 doses of Narcan
- Fentanyl test strips with instructions
- Face shield
- Instructions on Narcan administration
- Recovery resource guide
This training is provided by clinicians within the Greater Boroughs Partnership for Health and will be held on January 11th from 12pm - 12:30pm in the upstairs meeting room at the Northborough Library.
