Request for Proposals - Town Administrator Recruitment Services

The Northborough Select Board is seeking proposals from qualified executive search consultants to assist in the recruitment of a new Town Administrator. Northborough is a community of approximately 15,000 residents and has an open Town Meeting form of government. The Town Administrator reports to a 5-member elected Select Board and is assisted in their work by an Assistant Town Administrator and a dedicated team of department heads and employees.  There are also several elected and appointed volunteer Boards and Committees who take an active role in the governance of the Town.  The duties and qualifications of the Town Administrator are detailed in Section IV – Administrative Officer, in the Town Charter (https://www.codepublishing.com/MA/Northborough/#!/NorthboroughCH.html).

The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be available at 10:00a.m. on February 28, 2023, in the Town Administrator’s Office, 63 Main Street, Northborough, MA 01532, or online at: https://www.town.northborough.ma.us/bids.  Updates, addenda or amendments to the RFP will be distributed to parties who are on record as receiving the RFP and will be posted to the website listed above.  Questions regarding this RFP shall be directed to John Coderre, Town Administrator, at jcoderre@town.northborough.ma.us no later than 2:00 p.m. on March 9, 2023.

Sealed technical and price proposals must be hand delivered or mailed and received in the Select Board's office no later than 2:00 p.m. on March 15, 2023 to: John Coderre, 63 Main Street, Northborough, MA 01532.
