Effective September 7, 2021, masks will be required for all visitors and employees of municipal buildings, regardless of vaccination status. This decision has been made in consultation with public health professionals and is based upon the increased number of cases, both from the Delta variant and the rise in breakthrough cases (a positive case of Covid-19 in a fully vaccinated individual).
This updated policy will apply to the following municipal buildings:
- Northborough Public Library
- Northborough Senior Center
- Northborough Town Hall
- Northborough Police Department
- Northborough Fire Department
- Northborough Department of Public Works
A variety of information and resources are available on the town's Covid-19 webpage.
