For Your Health

The following Press Release was sent out by Salmon VNA & Hospice

The Northborough Senior Center is pleased to partner with SALMON VNA & Hospice to provide an onsite wellness nurse. The nurse will offer a clinic on the third Tuesday of every month from
12:30 – 2:00 PM, which will include general health screening and education, referrals, preventative health care advice, medication consultations, and glucose screening for those individuals who
bring their own glucometers.

Additionally, the Northborough Board of Health has generously partnered with SALMON VNA & Hospice to offer a blood pressure clinic the first Tuesday of every month from 1:00 – 2:00 PM.  These services are free of charge to Senior Center visitors and are made possible by the efforts and funding of the Friends of the Northborough Senior Center, Inc. and the Northborough Board of Health in recognition of the importance of extending public health services to our valuable senior population.  “I’m very excited SALMON VNA & Hospice is providing our wellness and blood pressure clinics,” says Northborough Senior Center Director Kelly Burke. “I encourage people to come by to meet Janet Iacovelli, RN.”  No appointments are required. For more information, call 508-393-5035.
