The Town of Northborough seeks applicants for a part-time Office Assistant in the Family & Youth Services (FYS) Office. This position performs a variety of administrative tasks in support of the overall functioning of the Office. Candidates for this 19 hour/week position must be organized with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines while experiencing frequent interruptions in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include greeting the public/clients, scheduling appointments, preparing correspondence, processing bills and payments, and assisting with various department programs and activities.  The ideal candidate will be an engaging individual who demonstrates empathy and sensitivity to the needs of residents served by FYS. Requires HS Diploma & 2 years job-related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency with MS Office applications preferred.  The anticipated hiring range is $19.82 - $22.80 per hour, dependent upon qualifications; maximum of the pay range for this position is $25.77. This is a non-benefit eligible position.
