The Town of Northborough is seeking applications for an Administrative Assistant in the Public Works Department. Candidates for this 19 hour/week position must possess exceptional public service, record-keeping and administrative support skills. Responsibilities include responding to public inquiries and complaints regarding services for the water/sewer, highway, parks and cemetery divisions; coordinating the processing of water/sewer bills; collecting payments; processing accounts payable; and assisting with various departmental programs and activities. Knowledge of local government desired. Requires an Associate’s degree in office administration and/or bookkeeping and 3 to 5 years job-related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency with MS Office
applications preferred. Pay range: $21.52 – $27.97 per hour; this is a non-benefit eligible position.
