The Northborough Fire Department currently uses Ambulance-2 as its secondary (backup) ambulance. "A-2" features all the equipment one would expect on an ambulance. It also has equipment to service the Advanced Life Support needs of patients. It has a redundant stock of equipment should the need to treat multiple patients arise. As a backup ambulance it responds to a second EMS call as well as stands-in for the primary ambulance during breakdown or maintenance events. |
