Since 1976, Family & Youth Services has been able to provide most of its services free of charge to Northborough residents. We are grateful for the tremendous support we have received in the community over the years. This has allowed us to be an effective town service that residents have come to depend upon.
In fact, given today's economy, we find an ever growing number of residents turning to us for help. We are pleased to be able to assist residents who have no where else to turn. For instance, many residents have no health insurance, are underinsured or simply cannot afford the cost of COBRA following a job loss.
In light of these challenging times we look to find creative ways to maintain our level of service. For example, we have received funds from private foundations and we will continue to seek grants that support our mission.
We are most thankful for the generous support of
CrossRoads Community Foundation
Metrowest Health Foundation
In addition to grant funds, we are asking for a monthly contribution toward the cost of our mental health counseling services. This contribution is not meant to be prohibitive in any way. If this stands between you and our services we encourage you to discuss this with your counselor.
Family & Youth Services is also pleased to accept contributions from local businesses and residents in support of our programs. Donations may be made to the "Department of Family & Youth Services."
All of these efforts allow us to continue to provide services to the residents of Northborough.
