1. No program will be held on days school is closed because of inclement weather. If there is a delay of opening at the schools, the Before School Care Program is closed.
2. If school dismisses early because of inclement weather, the After School Program is closed, as staff is not available. Participants will be dismissed according to your school dismissal emergency plan. Parents/Guardians will be contacted by the school’s ConnectED communication phone system and calling chain.
3. If the weather deteriorates and school is not dismissed, but safety remains a problem because of the late time of the program dismissal, Parents/Guardians will be called by the NEDP staff. An earlier pick up time may be necessary or the program may be cancelled for the day. In the event that Parents/Guardians can not be reached, emergency numbers will be utilized. No child will be left unattended.
