The Industrial Development Commission consists of members appointed by the Board of Selectmen for three-year terms.  The Commission promotes and develops the industrial resources of the Town, conducts research into industrial conditions, and investigates and assists in the establishment of educational or commercial projects, including projects involving private enterprise for the purpose of expanding or strengthening the local economy, and seeks to coordinate the activities of unofficial bodies organized for similar purposes.
